What is this Carrd?
A place to easily access a variety of links (media in particular) related to The Ravages of Time. You'll be able to find all kinds of official media/links, fan content, and more.
Who are you?
I'm Draps! I started reading RoT in December 2021 and have been a hardcore fan ever since. I colour it, I write fanfic about it, I run the unofficial Twitter page, and I contribute to the English chapters (proofreading and sometimes redrawing). I admire how much work has been put into Rot by its publishers, and into the Anglophone community by readers, so I want this carrd to be a central, one-stop place for people to find all kinds of stuff related to RoT inlcuidng media, fanwork, projects, etc.

January 2025 interview with Chan Mou
According to Merc, a fair bit of the information is repeated in past interviews, but he's given us some of the new information in this blog post.
FAQs (from old, new, and potential fans!)
Where can I read RoT?
It's recommended to read it on Mangadex: https://mangadex.org/title/f6ce20ca-73c3-4fdd-9367-e2901fca780e/the-ravages-of-time?tab=chapters&order=asc
Do I need to know Three Kingdoms history or read The Romance of the Three Kingdoms before reading RoT?
While many RoT readers do know 3K lore, many don't. Not knowing it can make the plot harder to follow, but there are many members of the Discord server that are well-versed in 3K and RoT and can help you out along the way. Plenty of readers (including myself) have stuck through RoT without knowing the lore!
When do chapters come out?
There isn't a strict release schedule, but we generally get one chapter per month, sometimes two if we're lucky.Teasers are released some time on Thursday morning on the official RoT Facebook page, and raw chapters drop the following Tuesday at midnight (in HKT - check what the equivalent is for your time zone!).The release of the English chapters depends on the availability of the small team that works on them. Please remember to be patient - all team members work on RoT for free out of love for the series!
Where can I buy merch as an overseas fan?
Merch is somewhat limited for overseas fans, because RoT has no English publication and it's not super popular outside of East Asia. However, some things can be purchased! There are two main websites for buying merch. The first, YesAsia, sources its products from Hong Kong, which is RoT's home. On YesAsia, you can buy some volumes, some deluxe volumes, and some special edition volumes. The regular volumes have black spines, and the deluxe volumes come in white cardboard boxes with the cover character on the front, glossy-page character portraits attached, and whichever golden bookmark is associated with that volume (each Deluxe Volume has a designated bookmark; it is not randomised). Please note that there are different YesAsia websites for North America, Europe, etc (the one linked above is for North America). The other, books.com.tw, is a Taiwanese site. You can buy (to my knowledge) all regular volumes, all deluxe volumes, and the 15th anniversary artbook - however, you cannot buy special edition volumes. Regular volumes have red spines instead of black, and deluxe volumes don't come with the white box, the portraits, or the bookmark - it's just the volume itself (red cover). As someone who has purchased from both websites, I recommend BCT because both the products themselves and the shipping are a lot cheaper than YesAsia, and the shipping is generally much faster. However, if you're getting a deluxe volume, I would recommend getting it on YesAsia if you can.
Where can I find fan content?
While there's some content on Anglophone-oriented websites like Twitter, Instagram, and Ao3, most content (especially fanart) is found on Chinese platforms like Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, and Lofter, as well as some other Asian platforms, like Pixiv. Some Chinese platforms are very difficult to sign up to without a Chinese phone number, but most allow you to sign up via a WeChat or QQ account (which can also be difficult to make, but less so). If you're using iOS, some platforms also allow you to sign up via Apple ID - however, be cautious, because sometimes, your username is automatically your email address, so you may inadvertently leak personal info. If this happens, there will usually be a way to sign in via your Apple ID on a PC and change it via the browser (Lofter is a great example of this).I have made accounts on several platforms, including Lofter, Weibo, Bilibili, and Xiaohongshu, all without a Chinese phone number or helpful knowledge of Chinese, and am happy to help you sign up - just ping me in the server or shoot me a DM!Once you're on the platform, search for RoT content using the Chinese title rather than the English one. You can also search for the title in combination with a character's name (in hanzi) for more specific results. In many cases, you will have to sift through posts about the manhua or donghua to find fanart, but I promise the hunt is worth it!Some tips I can offer as someone who frequents these spaces is to always credit artists when using their work; to use universally-understood emojis like hearts and simple phrases that won't get lost in translation/don't rely on cultural context; to follow the "don't like, don't look/read" philosophy; to disclose if you're using DeepL/Google Translate to communicate; and to remember that 'CP' means 'couple pairing', meaning it doesn't have the connotations that it does in Anglophone fandom spaces.
Has ___ been translated?
Along with the manhua chapters, there is other media on Merc's blog that has been translated. However, there's a lot that hasn't. The novels have not been translated into English, nor have the chibi comics, the isekai romance novel, or the four-panel comics volume. section in progress
